Saxon and Viking History of Box   Spring 2021     Issue 31

Picture
Picture
This is a first for the history of Box because the story of the village in Early Medieval times has never been fully recorded before. There's a lot more to the history than these two people: above left Alfred the Great and right St Aldhelm. In this issue we start at the close of the Romano-British period and take the story up to the coming of the Saxons.

Box After AD 350
