Northey Family, 1719 - 2017
Lords of the Manors of Box and Ashley


Many residents in the centre of Box and the hamlets live in a house built on Northey land. The family owned most of the village for 300 years but little has been recorded about them personally and their life in Box. We are indebted to Diana Northey and her family for kindly allowing us to use photos from her family albums, which originated with Arthur Cecil Northey.
