Out of respect to residents, we often try to show the better side of people and places in Box. Perhaps this gives a distorted view, so this issue redresses the balance. Our lead article tries to uncover parts of Box's troubled past with the story of the Slave Plantation Owners who settled in the village at Ashley and Middlehill whilst running estates in Jamaica.
