Georgian Box Revealed    Spring 2019   Issue 23

Georgian Hot Air

We start our 2019 series about Georgian Box with a provocative article which we called How Rude Was Box? although some know it as the History of Farting. So if you object to rude words and images, please skip this story and don't look at the picture, left (Treason, 1798 by Richard Newton, courtesy Washinton Library of Congress).

But the article is a serious contribution to Box's history and the amazing connection between difficult coach travel in Box, the British royal family and Georgian morality in the 1700s.
