This issue records the memoirs of Geoff Bence (left) who ran a business in the village for many years; and you can hear his views about some of the People he Remembers in Box. Go back in time to the Daniell Clan who were once so numerous in the village but now the name has virtually disappeared locally.
Were you in the village in the1950s? If so, you may be one of the people that Les Dancey remembers in the Class of 1954. Or perhaps you sang at Box Church and will recall the personalities in One Choir and Two Selwyn-Smiths.
Readers sometimes find that their lives connect with articles that we have published. This happened to Eric and Sandra Callaway in A Child of the Workhouse and with David Ibberson in More Sudells.
