Jane Griffin, who was orphaned in the terrible tragedy at the Rising Sun, Box, nearly 60 years ago, has written to us:

Hi to PC Bosley,
I am Jane from the Rising Sun pub that was destoyed in 1957. I'd like to thank him and all who helped.

After the disaster Jane went to live with her uncle and aunt in Beer, Devon and she now has three children and is grandma to seven grandchildren. She is currently living happily in Cambridgeshire. You can read the full story of this sad disaster at:
