Box Mad House

Kingsdown Lunatic Asylum is the lead article in the new issue of Box's Community History website. Thanks to residents you can take a tour inside the building and see how it has altered since 1903, including the Ladies Dining Room, left. You can also read about the 800 year historic connections between Box and Rudloe, Wadswick & Chapel Plaister, who are proposed to be transferred outside Box parish at the public consultation meeting 7pm on 14 October at Springfield Campus.
