Kingsdown Neolithic Walk Kingsdown Investigatory Standing Stone Society (KISSS) Summer 2014 Ara has hypothecated that standing stones once stood on the top of Kingsdown Common where the Golf Course now sites. There are no stones left there because they have slipped down off the flat-top over the last few millenium. But evidence that the once existed may be found in the houses and area around Kingsdown.
