Box Parish Neighbourhood Plan Day
Saturday 4th March 11am to 3.30pm
The Pavilion, Valens Terrace, Box

Following previous community feedback, a Steering Group made up of local people has identified these key local topic areas: Community Facilities, Employment and Economy, Footpaths and Cycle ways, Local Green Spaces, Local Heritage Assets (in partnership with Box People and Places website) and Design and Character. These will form the backbone of the Box Neighbourhood Plan. We would like to invite the communities of Box Parish to drop in throughout the day to offer their comments and feedback to the Steering Group on the identified topic areas.

Drop-in to the Pavilion at any time between 11am – 3.30pm on Saturday 4th March
Got a few minutes to spare?
  • Find out about more about what the Neighbourhood Plan for Box Parish will cover.
  • Have a chat with the local people on the steering group who are working on the Plan.
  • Give us your views on key topic areas.
  • There will also be a chance to capture what makes up the character of our Parish, and the different settlements, using enjoyable and easy methods.

Why our Neighbourhood Plan is important for Box Parish
The neighbourhood Plan, once formally adopted, will be part of the framework which controls planning and development within Box parish. It will be important because it will enable the Parish Council to set out a positive vision for Box Parish and help it influence planning decisions, shape how new homes meet local needs, protect our amenities, and support local businesses as well as conserving and enhancing our built natural environment.
You can find out more about the neighbourhood plan at www.boxparishcouncil.gov.uk

Get Involved with Shaping Our Community’s Future!
This is our community’s plan for the future of Box Parish. Your views on how you want our community to develop in the future will be crucial to its success.
We always welcome local people to help produce our plan. If you wish to discuss how you can help the steering group, including with any of the evidence gathering as we prepare the Plan, please contact us:
