Remembering Bill Peter         Geraldine Sephton           June 2018
Picture
I was searching for information on Box as I was brought up there in the 1960s to 1980s. I went to Box Highlands School and knew Bill Peter as a valued part of my childhood. He was my hero and taught me so much valuable information on horses.

He  taught me how to ride well and went on to teach riding as an adult. I have a wealth of memories of my time living in Box and time at Ashley Stables. Thanks for putting up the pictures; so wonderful for me to see.

Above and right:
Bill Peter was a common sight driving his horse and cart in Box during the 1960s and 1970s. (Photos courtsey Bob Hancock)

We welcome your further contributions to one of Box's genuine original characters. And more photos of Bill please.
